About Gabrielle

I’m an illustrator and modern calligrapher creating ranges of greeting cards, stationery, art and commissioned pieces. I’m inspired by our natural world and the romantic, organic designs of decorative arts.

I produce my work by hand using traditional methods; dip pens, inks, watercolour paints, crayons. I was taught by Quentin Blake who encouraged me to draw in a loose, quick way. I use gold and silver metallic paints and pure gold leaf in some of the original art. 

My work is about communicating messages of love, hope, joy, special thoughts at times of happiness or difficulty. I endeavour to communicate all this in my original designs.

All my work is proudly made in Kent in a studio overlooking the North Downs.
